Has the hair salon bandit struck again?

Investigators are trying to determine if a hair salon robbery Tuesday in Chicago’s Lincoln Park community is related to a string of salon robberies in the north suburbs.
Salon robberies in Skokie, Niles and Morton Grove are among those believed to be carried out by the same man.
On Tuesday, the suspect entered the Great Clips hair salon in the 1000 block of West Webster Avenue at 9:51 a.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register before fleeing, police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.
He is described as Hispanic, 6 feet to 6-feet-2, 200 pounds and wearing a red coat, Sullivan said.
