Gorilla Tango’s Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave., Skokie, offers a six-week workshop where youth ages 7-13, in tandem with professional filmmakers, create a short film, working on all aspects of the production including writing, directing, acting and crew. De Laine and the citizens of Clarendon County, S.C., who brought a pivotal law suit challenging racial segregation in public schools. Feb. 10, 1:30 p.m.: “Cello Compositions of Richard Stöhr, Persecuted Composer.” Cellist Stefan Koch, Lansing (Michigan) Symphony member, accompanied by pianist Robert Conway, will perform the rarely heard cello works of Richard Stöhr, who taught at the Vienna Academy of Music from 1901 until 1938, when he was forced by the Nazis to resign and emigrate.
