It may not be the first baby steps these toddlers have ever taken, but it’s certainly some of them.
Of course, the Skokie Park District’s new program titled “Baby Steps” isn’t quite so literal. The baby steps that these young ones take also have to do with creativity and play time and other bonding experiences with adults in their lives.
The program, for children ages 1 and 2, allows babies to socialize with children their own age and encourages free play.
The class began in January and meets weekly through the middle of March and includes a short circle time and small craft projects.
