Highland’s Heritage Night highlights diversity

Dozens of languages are spoken in the homes of students who attend ethnically diverse Highland School every day.

The school’s annual Heritage Night, held Jan. 26, has become an annual staple, a celebration of the remarkable diversity inside this District 68 school and the village of Skokie and the world in general.

International cuisine and entertainment were on hand as students and their families as well as faculty enjoyed a taste of the cultural diversity that has become so much a part of Highland School.
