A man was shot several times Thursday near the Skokie Swift station on Oakton Avenue.
A man was inside a car when another man opened fire about 6 p.m. near the intersection of Oakton Avenue and Skokie Boulevard, authorities said. The Skokie Swift station on Oakton was temporarily closed while police investigated.
No information was immediately available about the victim or whether anyone was arrested.
