SKOKIE — A former Niles North High School math teacher and cheerleading coach admitted to misdemeanor sexual exploitation of a child on Aug. 23, the Dupage County State’s Attorney’s Office reported.
Jeffrey Tackes, 30, of Bensenville, pleaded guilty and will now be registered as a sex offender for the next 10 years.
According to Paul Darrah, a spokesman for the Dupage County State’s Attorney’s Office, in December of 2010, Tackes played strip poker with two girls, ages 16 and 17, at his home.
Tackes will also face two years of probation and 250 hours of community service.
Darrah said Tackes exposed himself to the female minors, but he did not have any further information related to the details of the incident.
The sentence was handed down by Dupage County Judge Brian Diamond.
