Retrofit weight management company moves to Chicago
Weight management company Retrofit Inc. is moving its headquarters to downtown Chicago from Skokie and doubling its staff to 100.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the company announced the move Monday.
Retrofit is a data-driven weight management company that provides a year-long program that includes wireless monitoring of a client’s weight, activity and sleep and private lessons with a registered dietitian, exercise physiologist and behavior coach.
The company raised $8 million in financing led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson to bring its total investment in the company to $10.7 million, Retrofit said in a press release.
