Knox College names dean’s list honors
The following students have been named to the dean’s list at Knox College for the winter term 2012.
Jenna Gavrielle Cohen of Skokie, a sophomore English literature major.
Samantha Irene Maffeo of Lincolnwood, a junior Educational Studies and English Literature major and Laura Irene Umland of Lincolnwood, a junior English Literature major.
Tillmann graduates Illinois Wesleyan
Skokie resident Anneliese Tillmann, was among 512 candidates to graduate from Illinois Wesleyan University, in Bloomington. Tillmann graduated cum laude, with a major in art and interdisciplinary educational studies, with research honors.
Awadagin Pratt, classical pianist, conductor and philanthropist, delivered the commencement address.
Patel earns a degree in science
Bhargav M. Patel, a Skokie resident, graduated magna cum laude from Southern Illinois University,
Edwardsville on May 5. Patel received a B.A. in science from the College of Arts and Science. There were 1,840 students graduating over a two-day period.
